DMCA Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026DocImgScan.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond promptly to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content available on DocImgScan.com infringes a copyright you own, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. To be effective, your notice must include the following information in writing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including enough information to allow us to locate it on the site (e.g. a direct URL).
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
2. Where to Send Your Notice
Notices that do not comply with the requirements above may not receive a response. We recommend consulting with legal counsel before submitting a notice, as knowingly making false claims of infringement may result in liability.
3. Counter-Notification
If you believe that content you posted or that belongs to you was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our designated agent containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the U.S., an applicable judicial district), and that you will accept service of process from the party that filed the original notice.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material in accordance with the procedures set out in the DMCA, unless the original complainant informs us that they have filed a court action.
4. Repeat Infringers
We reserve the right to remove or disable access to content and, where appropriate, restrict or terminate access for users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright.
5. No Legal Advice
This policy is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. If you have questions about your rights or obligations under the DMCA, we encourage you to consult a qualified attorney.
